DEAN'S LIST
The Dean's List for each semester (except summer) includes those full-time undergraduate students who have earned a 3.4 grade point average for at least 12 semester hours of credit for the semester just ended. The Dean's List certificates are then mailed.

Included in the listing for the spring semester are those part-time students who have maintained a 3.4 or better grade point average for each (fall and spring) semester and who have accumulated a minimum of 12 semester hours of credit for two semesters.

HONORS DEGREE PROGRAM
The Honors Degree program is designed to create a continuing community of intellectual excellence. Exceptional students brought together from diverse disciplines and challenged with extraordinary courses and learning experiences outside the classroom can find in the program opportunities to develop their full cultural and intellectual potential, their unique academic achievements being recognized with an Honors Degree. Intended to foster interdisciplinary interaction, self-expression, experimentation, leadership and academic excellence, the Honors Degree Program serves as a tangible emblem of Youngstown State University's commitment to education, teaching innovation, and cultural enrichment. For further information about the program, contact the Honors Program Director, Dr. Ronald Shaklee, at (330) 941-4740.
